Starship Combat Comes to the Bridge

Starship Combat Comes to the Bridge
Starship combat is live in the Stars Without Number VTT. Here's what's in this build.
The Combat Interface
The starship combat view is a dedicated screen you can open from any session when ships are in conflict. It shows: - Participating ships arranged in a tactical display - Current distance band (Close/Short/Medium/Long/Extreme) - Hull points and system damage for each ship - Initiative order
Running a Round
Each turn, the active crew member selects an action from the role panel: - Captain: Grant Initiative, Inspire, Support Action - Pilot: Evasive Action, Set Course, Break Off - Gunner: Attack (weapon selection), Fire Support - Engineer: Emergency Repair, Boost Shields, Reroute Power - Tech: Jam Sensors, Override, Electronic Warfare
The VTT handles modifiers from distance band, damage, and crew skill automatically. You pick the action; the system handles the math.
Damage
When a ship takes hull damage, the VTT rolls on the system damage table automatically. Damaged systems show as red in the ship status panel with their current effect.
Critical hits prompt a player/GM choice: apply the rolled critical damage or burn a point of crew Luck to reduce it to standard damage.
NPC Ships NPC ships use pre-built stat blocks from the ship roster. GMs can assign NPC AI behavior (aggressive, defensive, evasive, flee-on-30%-damage) so the system auto-selects reasonable NPC actions if you want to reduce bookkeeping.
What's Coming Next Fleet combat support (multiple ships per side) is the next major piece.
