A Free Trial, A Real Front Door, and a Public Homepage

Public Homepage Is Live

ShawnsVTTs.com is now a real homepage. Previously it redirected to the Patreon. Now it's a proper product page: what the VTTs are, how they work, what's free, what's paid.

If you've been meaning to send someone a link to explain what ShawnsVTTs is, shawnsvtts.com is that link now.

Free Trial Is Open

You no longer need a Patreon subscription to try the VTTs. Every GM gets one free campaign per VTT — no credit card, no time limit. Players remain permanently free.

This changes the pitch: instead of "subscribe to find out if you like it," it's "try it free, subscribe when you want unlimited campaigns."

Patreon Sign-In Still Works

If you're already a subscriber, nothing changes. Your Patreon sign-in still works and your subscription tier still applies. The free tier is additive — it opens access to everyone, it doesn't reduce what subscribers have.

What Changed on the Product Side

The login flow now branches: - Patreon subscribers get redirected to the VTT launcher automatically - New free accounts go through a short onboarding flow before landing in the first campaign creator
